Agree that that you are NOT closely affiliate with a business owner and not accepting compensation in exchanges for positive food rating and recommendations

Currently, Local foodie experts are invite-only. We will set up meetings with you to go over the program and provide an "Invite Code" which will be used to set up your account to be ranked in a city. If you are interested in become a local foodie expert, you can fill out the "become a local foodie expert" form and we will contact you to discuss further.
Earn extra income: Depends on the type of query, you will get paid for answering Private query or Public paid query.
Earn rewards: You will gain points for answering traveler's questions and making food recommendations in your city. Your points will determine your ranking in your city as a local foodie expert. At the end of each quarter, we will calculate and verify the points of all local foodie experts. Top 5 local foodie experts earn rewards such as flight ticket, hotel stay, dinner, or restaurant giftcards.
Rewards can be redeemed within 6 months and they are non-transferrable, have no cash value, and may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash or gift cards. or any cash equivalent.
No, you don't write food reviews. Instead, you will make food recommendations. You give a food rating(good, bad, ok) for the dish and add high quality photo of the food or record short video of your experience at any restaurant that you visit.
At Andinow, we believe that the future of food recommendation is not based on reading online review but to get accurate food recommendation based on user taste.
Your ranking is updated daily when your new points are added. If you are making recommendations for new restaurants which are not in our database then Andinow will need to review before rewarding points. Points are added or substracted based on our rules
Andinow is an on-demand food recommendation concierge service platform where we connect travelers to local foodie experts. By using Andinow platform, users can get personalized recommendations based on their taste profile. Our system matches local foodie experts' recommendations with the users' taste profiles to help them discover new dishes that will become their favorite in a new city. Users can also ask local experts on-demand by texting and get answers instantly without having to do a lot of research or reading ton of online reviews.
Andinow local experts cannot accept compensation in return for the recommendations from restaurants. Accepting compensation will result in suspension of your account and losing all points and ranking.
Once you are registered with Andinow as a local expert, you can log onto your account and start recommending your favorite dishes and restaurants. A food recommendation should have a good qualify photo, a food rating(good, bad, ok, excellent) and personal comment about the dish. Your comment should compare the dish of the restaurant to the same dish at other places. This will help travelers making decision easier. This is not where you write about the restaurant service nor ambiance. Please avoid speculations such as “The restaurant might have used an ingredient xxx in the dish yyy”.
No, you should use your own photo. Andinow uses AI technology to determine whether the photo is fake and the recommendation won't receive any points. Repeated photo violation may result in suspension of account and removed from ranking. Bonus points for taking selfie with the food that you recommend.
Any food&drink-related local business that help travellers discover unique local experience. These could be local gems that only local foodies know about.
Yes, your food rating is your personal opinion and it is important to make different type of food ratings whether they are good or bad. Andinow system will give bonus points for local foodie experts who has a variety of food ratings. A local foodie expert having only "excellent" or only "bad" food rating are not very selective.
Yes, absolutely- more the merrier ; in-fact we would love to have more foodies who love sharing their experiences with travellers to discover something new. Just contact us(team@andinow.com) to get a referral link. You'll get referral bonus points if the candidate is selected.
